Overview
In addition to showing patients they are not alone in dealing with PTSD, the website also needed to highlight the personalized care and treatment plans for auto accident survivors that are having a hard time coping in the aftermath of such a traumatic event.
Situation
This website had a unique and relevant positioning angle, in that their services are offered via virtual telemedicine. The rise of virtual medicine, from diagnosis to treatment, is growing and expanding every day, especially in a world dealing with lingering fears and health security due to the COVID pandemic. Many patients are not ready to return to the medical office just yet, and the website design needed to highlight the virtual services offered, and also provide easy navigation in online appointment booking.
The logo needed to be clean and simple, communicating authority and medical expertise in the area of psychological evaluations and therapy services.
Approach
In my design approach, I understood the need to incorporate the main benefits of personalized patient care, online evaluations from the comfort of home, and the user-friendly appointment process.
The calming palette of pastel colors throughout the site, including light green, blue, and coral, are meant to evoke a friendly, warm, and welcoming tone as patients learn more about the staff and services.
The simplistic drop-down menu allows for easy navigation for patients who would like more detailed information on services available, and I placed several large CTA icons for patients to easily book an appointment at their convenience.
The final piece was a modern logo with clean lines and classic colors to effectively communicate the company’s mission and services.
